[Letter] 1858 June 7, University of Va. to "my dear John" [John Albert Broadus] / Somerville Broadus. 1858.

Wrote concerning the health of Broadus's daughters: "They talk about papa every day, say they wish you may not have to go from home again to stay so long--they send their love and say they will try and be good children." Broadus's wife died Oct. 31, 1857 and he was away from home while involved in the formation of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
